A 12-year-old Jewish boy hides with a family of Catholic peasant farmers to escape the Nazis.
Romek (Haley Joel Osment), a 12-year-old Jewish boy, seeks refuge from the Nazis during World War II by hiding out with a family of Catholic peasant farmers. He's soon befriended by a priest (Willem Dafoe) and a young boy named Tola (Liam Hess), who give him solace as he worries with each passing day that he may be sent off to meet his doom. Edges of the Lord won the Best Screenplay award at the 2001 Polish Film Festival.
