Inspired of the real life of the Shue family, Gracie (Carly Schroeder) relate the stories of a young girl that after the dead of his brother (Andrew Shue) the star player in the college soccer team, decide to realize her dream to replace him on the team. The movie takes place at the end of the 70s and Gracie will face all the constraints before she can line up in the team. She has to face friends, boyfriend and the whole soccer team. Her father (Dermot Mulroney) helps her with the training but only mental thoroughness will get her there. This movie is about resiliency and the willingness to win.
