“I know Who Killed Me” is about the abduction and return of Aubrey Fleming (Lindsay Lohan), a young woman who has been through a harrowing experience with a serial killer. Aubrey had managed to escape herself, the torture of her capture being too much to stay and take it. She is then found in the middle of the woods two weeks later unconscious. However when she is returned home she insists she is someone else, a person named Dakota Moss. Dakota was a character Aubrey made up for her English fictions writing class, which raises more questions about the state of her mind.
