On the trail of a relentlessly precise serial killer (Robert Joy), Chicago detectives John Prudhomme (Christopher Lambert) and Andrew Hollinsworth (Leland Orser) learn what the murderer is really up to: He intends to reconstruct the body of Christ in time for Easter, using spare parts from innocent victims. The case proves particularly challenging for Prudhomme, who recently lost his son, his once-solid marriage -- and his faith in God.
