Scandal in the White House. This could be the headlines in the media unless DC Detective Harlan Regis (Wesley Snipes) can find out who murdered a secretary in the White House and why. Complicating the investigation is the fact that the country is in a diplomatic crisis with Korea and the Secret Service is being extremely uncooperative. But Regis finds an ally in Secret Service Agent Nina Chance (Diane Lane). He also finds an adversary in Agent Spikings (Daniel Benzali). As the Regis and Chance start digging, they come to suspect a cover up. But by who and, more importantly, why. It begins to look like the conspiracy may lead all the way to the Oval Office.
